ALTHEIMER — Deborah L. Brunson, 63, of Altheimer, Ark., passed away after a long illness on March 12. She was born in Topnish, Wash. Deborah worked at Crestwood Manor, Bayo Vista Tiny Tots, and Vallejo City Unified School District. One of her greatest joys and privileges was to travel with her husband and volunteer building New Kingdom Halls.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James Brunson; son, Jonathan Paul Brunson; parents, Sidney and Carmel Nickolas; and brother, James Nickolas.
Deborah is survived by her daughters, Carrie Megan Mathews (Richard), and Crystal Michelle Brunson; sons, James Patrick Brunson (Amy) and Brian Keith Brunson (Roseanne); sisters, Barbara Harrison, Janice Hall-Bajek, Linda Edwards, Geraldine Nickolas, Pamela Nickolas-Simpson and Patricia Nickolas; brothers, Sidney, Alfred, Michael, and Carl Nickolas; grandchildren, Jillian, Jordan, Donovan, Kaylin, Anthony, Brian Jr., Raven, Robin, Iman, Brice (Jabo), Allison, Ben (Jaime), and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Dallas (CooCoo), Baby Shaun, Gianna, Lexi, and Baby Ben.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 21 from 3.–8 p.m. at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St. in Vallejo. Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 22 at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1137 5th St. in Vallejo. Burial will take place at Sacramento Valley Nation Cemetery in Dixon. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home.
