Calvin Richardson


Funeral services for Mr. Calvin “Big Shot” Richardson, 57, passed Saturday at the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock will be 3 p.m., New Salem MBC in Sherrill, Ark., Rev. Clark E. Thomas pastor.

He was born November 26, 1956 in Tucker, Ark., son of the late William Richardson, Sr. and Amanda Richardson. He received his education from Plum Bayou High. He was a mechanic.

He was a member of New Salem MBC. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Calvin Richardson, Jr.; three brothers, James Richardson, Theodis Richardson, Nathaniel Richardson; two sisters, Earlean Adway, Dorothy Matta.

Survivors include one daughter, LaTreva (Bernard) Nard of Rowlett, Texas; one brother, William (Joyce) Richardson, III of Pastoria, Ark.; four sisters, Ora (Albert) Reece of Chicago, Ill., Bobbie Adway, Gloria (Vester) Tillmon, Vanessa Richardson all of Tucker, Ark.; three grandchildren whom he adopted, Deaunte, Christian, Averee; two brothers in Laws Herman Adway of Milwakee, Wis. , Don Matta of Spring Lake, Mich.; nieces, nephews, cousins.

Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Sherrill, Ark. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
