Hollis Clanton

JOHNSVILLE — Hollis Clanton, age 95, of Johnsville, Ark., died Saturday, April 19, at his home. He was born August 2nd, 1918 in Johnsville, Ark., a son of the late Samuel Wesley Clanton and Claudia June Woodward Reaves Clanton. He was a lifelong tomato farmer, a graduate of Vick schools, and a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Syble T. Lee

LITTLE ROCK — Mrs. Syble Townsend Lee, 84, of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, made her transition to be with the Lord on April 15, 2014. She was born June 26, 1929 to the late Mr. Grady and Mrs. Inez (Ridgeway) Townsend in Rison.

Mary Scales

WATSON — Mary Lou Ricketts Scales, 61, of Watson, Ark., went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2014 at her home. Mary was born on May 18, 1952 in Dumas, AR. to Richard James and Willadean Stephens Ricketts, Sr. Mary was a member of The Watson Methodist Church and attended the Watson Assembly of God Church; she was a Bookkeeper for Smith Steele in Dumas for 15 years.

MERIDIAN, Miss. —Funeral services for Thomas Lee Ivy will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Hampton, Arkansas. Burial will be at Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Hampton, Arkansas with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Leon Kimbrell

MONTGOMERY, TEXAS — Leon Kimbrell, age 85, of Montgomery, Texas, formerly of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, in Montgomery. Mr. Kimbrell was born May 2, 1928, in Cleveland County, Arkansas, the son of the late Sylvester and Virgie Payne Kimbrell.

Lechia Stephens

Funeral services for Lechia L. Stephens of Pine Bluff, passed April 10, at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. Family Time Church, 501 Ohio Street, Rev. Michael Williams, Pastor.

Anna Warrior

Mother Anna Brown Warrior,86, of Pine Bluff, was the second child born to the late Eulis & Beatrice (Scott) Brown. She was born September 30, 1927 in Haynes, Ark. She later moved to Pine Bluff, she married the late Evan Warrior. Nine children were born. Mother Anna B. Warrior walked, talked and sang about the goodness of the Lord. One of her accomplishments that was important to her was getting her GED with raising her children in future education enrolled at UAPB.

Marshall Dunmore

DUMAS — Mr. Marshall Dunmore, 55 of Dumas, Ark., died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. He was born October 12, 1958 to the late Willie Dunmore and Versia Crosby Dunmore in Dumas, Ark.
