DERMOTT - Lillie Mae Phillips, 66, of Dermott, Ark. died March 22, 2015. Born December 14, 1948 the daughter of the late Walter Love, Sr. and the late Willie Mae Buckhalton.

LaDon Jester

CAMDEN - After a lengthy illness, LaDon Ward Jester of 762 Cardinal Street Camden, Ark. passed away quietly March 26, 2015, at her home with her family at her side. LaDon was born the daughter of Daniel Harold Ward and Lois Louise Ward on April 6th, 1939, in Hope, Ark. She grew up in Bodcaw, Ark., in rural Nevada County, as a member of Union Baptist Church. LaDon attended Bodcaw School where she excelled in sports as a member of the Girls Junior and Senior Basketball team. She was active in the local F.F.A. (Future Farmers of America Sweetheart), and well known throughout the region as a singer and pianist, performing at churches, county fairs, and other venues.

Derrick Knight, Sr.

GRADY - Funeral services for Derrick N. Knight, Sr., 40, of Grady, Ark. passed March 25, 2015 at BHMC in Little Rock. Services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Grady, Ark. with Reverend Robert Scott, Sr., pastor.

Mrs. Daisy Lee Camp, 88, of Pine Bluff, Ark. passed Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was born in Dermott, Ark. to the late Moses Williams and Annie (Bell) Guess.

Ray Ederington

BRADENTON, FLORIDA - Ray Henry Ederington, age 92, of Bradenton, Fla. (formerly of Warren, Ark.), died Friday March 20, 2015. Born October 10, 1922 in Warren, Ark., a son of the late Vester Vance Ederington and Ophie Helen Whitaker Ederington. He was a retired construction worker and the widower of Lois “Cricket” Parker Ederington.

Barbara McKenney

LITTLE ROCK - Barbara Sue McKenney, 62, of Little Rock, passed away March 20, 2015. Born in Goliad, Texas to Owen Lewis Rylie and Ruby Lee Malone Rylie, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of nursing experience in critical care, surgical care and clinical research at hospitals in Little Rock and Pine Bluff. She was also a published author of “The Ancient Necklace.”
