LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe has released $300,000 from the Governor’s Disaster Fund to provide assistance to eligible, uninsured victims of severe storms and flooding that occurred at the end of June, Beebe’s office announced Tuesday.
Eligible homeowners and renters who lost their primary residences in Monroe, St. Francis or Woodruff counties can apply for disaster assistance from July 31 through Aug. 13, Beebe’s office stated in a news release.
Applications can be made online at adem.arkansas.gov or by calling the Arkansas Disaster Assistance Hotline at 888-683-2336. The call center will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the application period.
Also, cities and counties in Cross, Jackson, Monroe, Prairie, St. Francis and Woodruff counties can apply for supplemental disaster relief under the state’s Public Assistance Program, the governor’s office said.
