Woman injured in shooting; suspect sought

Pine Bluff police are looking for a suspect who shot a female employee at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stop and Shop convenience store at 1100 West 16th Ave.

Denise Gibson, 32, was taken to the hospital for treatment. A male employee who was also at the scene was not hit.

The shooting suspect, who is male, was seen on surveillance footage wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, dark pants and white shoes, Pine Bluff Police Officer Jason Boykin wrote in an incident report. Police are also looking for two other men who came to the store with the suspect.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store, shooting at two employees and leaving within seconds, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the suspected shooter leaving the store running south and the other two men running to the northeast. The second man was wearing dark shorts, a dark shirt and a white hat. The third man was wearing a white mesh shirt, black shorts and a blue hat.
