A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Friday after she allegedly pointed a gun at a neighbor during an altercation on the west side of Pine Bluff.
Lisa Brown, 50, allegedly threatened to kill the neighbor before the two women got into a physical altercation in a yard in the 2400 block of Howard Drive, Detective Temmiothy Johnson said in a probable cause affidavit presented in court Monday.
According to the affidavit, the alleged victim said she was in her yard with family and friends when Brown came into her yard, put a silver-colored pistol to her head and told the alleged victim she would “blow her brains out.”
The alleged victim said she knocked the gun away from Brown before the two got into a physical altercation, the affidavit said.
Johnson said in the affidavit the alleged victim told police the altercation between herself and Brown was a continuation of an altercation from the previous day.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $2,500 bond for Brown after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with aggravated assault.
Brown was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled.
