Wanted man surrenders to police

A Pine Bluff man sought in connection with an alleged threatening incident turned himself in to Pine Bluff police on Friday, police spokesman Officer Richard Wegner said via email.

Anthony Simmons, 38, had been sought since Tuesday morning after allegedly threatening two people with a gun at a factory in the Industrial Park. He drove to the parking lot where he allegedly confronted two people and displayed a black .9-millimeter gun, police said. The victims also told police Simmons followed one of them to a gas station.
