Two arrested on drugs, firearm allegations


Two people were arrested and drugs and several guns were seized Wednesday night when Pine Bluff police served three search warrants.

Ryan Gonzales was arrested when a warrant was served on Richard Court in the Dollarway area, according to a press release from Pine Bluff Police Department spokesman Sgt. David De Foor. And Eddie Tolbert was arrested in connection with the warrant served in the 1200 block of East 18th Avenue.

The third warrant in the 5100 block of West 14th Avenue was to check the welfare of minors at the location, and no arrests were made.

On Richard Court, police seized a number of items, including: a Charter Arms .38-caliber handgun, an SKS rifle, a North American Arms .22-caliber handgun, a Wischo .25-caliber handgun, a Benelli shotgun, 150 Xanax pills, six hydromorphone pills and 181 grams of marijuana. Gonzales was arrested on allegations of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver Xanax, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of a defaced firearm.

On East 18th Avenue, the seized items included: a HK .45-caliber handgun, a Ruger P9 .45-caliber handgun, a .38-caliber revolver, a Remington model 514 .22-caliber rifle, 138 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine and 39 grams of K2 synthetic marijuana. Tolbert was arrested on allegations of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver cocaine and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

The warrants were served by the Pine Bluff Police Department Vice and Narcotics Division, Narcotics K-9 Sgt. Zeke and the PBPD SWAT Team.
