A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Saturday after an alleged beating incident.
Erica Morgan, 28, told police she and the man had been involved in a prior incident when she was a child.
According to a probable-cause affidavit from Detective William Freeman, officers were sent at about 9:21 p.m. to West 12th Avenue and Linden Street, where they found a man on the ground bleeding from his head.
Witnesses told police they saw Morgan and another woman beating the man.
The second suspect — identified as Dorothy Coleman, 29 — was arrested Monday afternoon and is being held on probable cause of second-degree battery. She is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Morgan on Monday after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with second-degree battery.
The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Morgan, who Deputy Prosecutor Nicole Pugh said had no prior convictions or pending charges.
