Police seeking man in alleged rape


Pine Bluff police are asking for help in locating a man identified as a suspect in the home invasion and rape of a woman on the west side of the city in April.

Christopher Holder, 21, is wanted for questioning in the incident, which occurred at an apartment in the early morning hours of April 21, according to a press release from Officer Richard Wegner.

The alleged victim told police she was asleep when an unknown black male woke her up, held a gun to her head and forced her to have sex with him. She said the room was dark so she couldn’t tell who the male was. After the alleged incident, the male left through the front door of the apartment.

The alleged victim also told police the man threatened to kill her if she reported the incident.

Wegner said Holder was identified as a suspect during the investigation. He has a slender build and about is about 6 feet tall.
