Pine Bluff police have made no arrests and are asking for help in identifying the person or persons involved in a double homicide on Dec. 3.
Roderick Dolls, 28, and Joseph “Jo Jo” Campbell, 20, were found inside a parked vehicle on Locust Street just north of West 29th Avenue after police responded to a report of shots fired at 8:49 p.m. on Dec. 3.
Dolls, who was behind the steering wheel of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m. Campbell, who was in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead at 9:12 p.m.
Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley listed the cause of death for both men as gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Campbell had been named as a suspect in the Nov. 16 shooting death of Terrance Brooks, 24, who was found inside a parked car a few blocks from where the vehicle containing Dolls and Campbell was found. Brooks was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he died.
Campbell surrendered to police Nov. 24, and was questioned and released.
Jamal Pridgeon, 22, has been arrested in the Brooks slaying. Police say that Pridgeon told them he and Brooks got into an altercation and Brooks pulled out a handgun and fired at him several times before dropping the gun. Pridgeon said he picked up the gun and fired at Brooks before leaving the scene.
Police have not established a motive for the deaths of Dolls and Campbell.
Anyone with information about their deaths should contact the Detective Division at 730-2090 or the dispatch center at 541-5300. All calls will be kept confidential.
