Police ID suspect in Monday shooting

Pine Bluff police are asking the public for help locating a suspect — who they consider armed and dangerous — in a Monday night shooting in front of an apartment at 2202 W. 10th Ave.

Levelle Karem Anderson, 27, is being sought by police in connection with the shooting of Anthony Alexander, 25, whose wounds were described by police immediately after the incident as non-life threatening.

Anderson is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Alexander appeared to have been shot at about 7 p.m. in front of Apartment Two in the right arm and right buttock area, according to a police report by Officer Billy Robertson.

Anyone with information about Anderson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the PBPD Detective Division at 730-2090 or the Dispatch Center at 541-5300.
