A reported disturbance in late February led to the arrest of a man who allegedly pushed his former girlfriend, reached into her car and stole cash and a cell phone before fleeing.
Deandrea Billingsley, 21, allegedly ran into an apartment in the 3000 block of South Fir Street after the altercation on Feb. 27 and was not located until Saturday, Deputy Prosecutor Nicole Pugh said during a court hearing for Billingsley Monday.
According to the police report, the alleged victim said she had just gotten out of her vehicle when Billingsley approached her and pushed her aside before reaching into the vehicle and taking the cash and phone.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Billingsley after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with breaking or entering and theft of property.
Billingsley, who Pugh said had no prior convictions or pending charges, said he would hire his own attorney.
