Man arrested after allegedly damaging house

A Pine Bluff man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly caused significant damage to a house in the Dollarway area.

Ronario Holmes, 34, allegedly punched numerous holes in the walls, doors and cabinets at No. 23 N. Haley St., Detective Sgt. Deric Neal said in a probable cause affidavit presented in court Wednesday.

According to the affidavit, Holmes also ran water in the bathtub until it overflowed, causing damage to the bathroom floor.

He also allegedly turned over a refrigerator and broke a television set, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit did not indicate a motive for the alleged activity.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $25,000 bond for Holmes after ruling prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with criminal mischief.

Holmes was also ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled.
