Man accused of pointing gun at former girlfriend

A Pine Bluff man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly pointed a gun at his former girlfriend and another person.

Quenton Clark, 21, allegedly went to an apartment where the woman was visiting a relative. When she refused to talk to him, Clark allegedly pointed a gun at her and her relative.

Detective Jerry Lambert said in a probable-cause affidavit that when Clark was questioned, he admitted going to the apartment complex but denied pointing a gun at the alleged victims.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Clark on Thursday after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge him with two counts of aggravated assault.

In addition, Clark was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims until the case is settled.

Clark said he would hire his own attorney.
