A Pine Bluff man was arrested after allegedly cutting a woman with a knife Wednesday.
Pine Bluff police arrested Lawrence Plummer, 57, on suspicion of third-degree domestic battery, a second offense. The alleged victim suffered minor cuts on the arm consistent with a knife wound, Deputy Prosecutor Nicole Pugh said at a probable cause hearing Friday.
The woman told officers that Plummer and she argued and that he cut her with the knife, Pugh said. Plummer was previously convicted of domestic battery in 2011, she said.
In addition to ruling that prosecutors have probable cause to charge Plummer, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ordered Plummer to have no contact with the alleged victim.
