Bond set in alleged recorded sex incident

A $25,000 bond was set Wednesday for a man who allegedly had sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl and recorded the incident.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling that prosecutors had probable cause to charge Jeremiah Young, 19, with sexual indecency with a minor and video voyeurism.

Deputy Prosecutor Nicole Pugh said the incident occurred March 14 when the girl had sexual contact with Young and another male.

Young allegedly recorded the incident despite the girl telling him she “didn’t want the incident recorded,” Pugh said.

In addition to setting the bond, Kearney ordered Young to have no contact with the alleged victim until the case is settled.

Young said he would hire his own attorney.
