Redfield police are asking for help in locating the driver of a vehicle that hit a man on a bicycle Saturday night and left the scene.
Police Chief Steve McFatridge said the victim, a 56-year-old white male whose name has not been released, is in the Intensive Care Unit of a Little Rock hospital and is “unresponsive.”
The accident was reported in the 400 block of River Road at about midnight Saturday when the silver or light gray vehicle, believed to be a car, struck the bicycle from behind while traveling east on River Road, then drove away.
McFatridge said the suspect vehicle may possibly have damage on the right front passenger side and may also have a broken windshield.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Redfield Police Department at 501-397-5100.
