Police seeking two in Saturday night robbery


Pine Bluff police are continuing their investigation into the alleged robbery of a convenience store Saturday night on North Bryant Street and police are asking for help in locating the two suspects involved.

The robbery was reported at 9:49 p.m. at Kwik Check Food Mart at 800 N. Bryant St. According to the police report, two unknown males, one armed with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of cash and money orders before fleeing on foot east on Malcomb Street.

According to the report, one of the clerks at the store fired a shot at one of the suspects as he fled from the store but did not hit the suspect.

One of the males was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and a striped shirt that appeared to be red-and-white pulled over his face and head and was the one that was armed.

The other male was wearing a red T-shirt with a white T-shirt under it, black knee-length short pants, black socks with lime green chevron print, a lime green band on his left wrist, earrings in both ears and red bandanna with a black do-rag on his head.

Store security video showed both men grabbing money out of the registers.
