Pine Bluff Police have located all three suspects linked to the shooting death of Terrance Brooks on Nov. 16, but at this point, only one of the three is facing charges.
Lt. David Price said Monday that Jamal Pridgeon, 22, was arrested Sunday and after being questioned, was taken to the W. C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center where he was booked in on probable cause of first-degree murder.
Two other suspects, Markevious White, 20, and Joseph Campbell, 20, were also located, and Price said at this time, no charges are expected to be filed against them.
Brooks, 24, was found bleeding inside a vehicle when police were called at 2:52 p.m. Nov. 16 to 2001 W. 29th Ave. and taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead of gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told police Brooks and an unknown man were involved in an altercation in the front yard of the residence and shots were fired.
Pridgeon is expected to appear in Jefferson County District Court for a probable cause hearing Tuesday morning where more details about the incident are expected to be released.
