Jefferson County Road Department and Recycling Report

The roads that were repaired by the Jefferson County Road Department were as follows:

March 7

• Patching Crew: Filled potholes in Hannaberry Lake Road and Marion Road.

• Culvert Crew: Cleaned out culverts on McKelvin Road and River Road.

• Grader Operators: Graded Adams Road, McCormick Road, Liska Road and Mt. Olive Road.

March 10

• Ditching Crew: Cleaned out ditches and picked up leaves on Jacks Road, McKelvin Road and River Road.

• Truck Drivers: Hauled SB2 from Little Rock to the Jefferson County Road Department.

• Grader Operators: Graded Willis Road, Gray Road, Boudra Road, O.C. Drive, Adamson Road, Nesby Road, Rick Road, Summer Road, Lab Road, Providence Road, Princeton Pike Loop, Crossett Road, Lambert Road, Webster Road, Brantley Road, Sell Davis Road, Carlee Road, Dowd Road, Honey Bee Lane, Tower Road, Bennett Road and Watkins Road. Also cut shoulders on Watkins Road.

• Environmental Officer: Worked with Jefferson County resident to get trashy yard cleaned up.

March 11

• Patching Crew: Filled potholes on Earl Chadick Road. McKelvin Road is being paved and many of the employees are working on that road project, which will take about three days.

• Truck Drivers: Hauled SB2 from Little Rock to Watkins Road.

• Grader Operators: Graded Shady Grove Church Road, Webb Road, Alex Brown Road, Riverside Road, Morris Chapel Church Road, Mitchell Road and spread SB2 on Watkins Road.

March 12

• Patching Crew: Still paving McKelvin Road.

• Grader Operators: Graded Wood Road, Archer Road, North Pack Road, Johnnie’ Lane, Leisure Road and Vaugine Road.

• Boom Mower Crew: Cut right of way on Ferda Road.

March 13

• Patching Crew: Still paving McKelvin Road.

• Boom Mower Crew: Removed a tree that was in the road.

Jefferson County Recycling Report

• Brought in 15 tire boxes, seven cardboard boxes and six trash boxes.

• Brought in three trash trailers. Sent three trash trailers out.

• Jefferson County brought in 57.09 tons of tires. Get Rid of It/Waste Management brought in 101.79 tons of tires.

• Sent out two truckloads of e-waste that had been brought in from other counties.
