The University Relations and Development office at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff announced that the initial goal of $25,000 has been exceeded during its online campaign, 24/10. As of this week, the campaign has raised $45,235 which is almost double the initial goal.
According to a UAPB news release, the funds received will have a positive impact on three main fundraising areas that have been identified: University’s Highest Priority, scholarships and extra-curricular activities.
“This initiative is an example of what can be accomplished when we work together,”UAPB Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander said. “With this type of success, anything is possible.”
“The response to the 24/10 Campaign has been encouraging for future campaigns that the university will initiate,” said Margaret Martin-Hall, director of University Relations and Development. “We extend heartfelt appreciation for the support we are receiving with this initiative.”
