Stanmore receives UAPB Full-Ride Scholarship


Sydney Stanmore of Lancaster, Texas, was recently awarded a Chancellor’s Full-Ride Scholarship from the Office of Recruitment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

Stanmore ranks number two in her graduating class at Life High School of Oak Cliff in Dallas. She is the daughter of the late William Kevin Stanmore and Shelia Renee Stanmore.

Stanmore serves as secretary of the National Honor Society and is a member of Ardent Council and prom committee. She is also a member of the volleyball team and manages the track team. She will major in industrial engineering at UAPB with plans to obtain a master’s degree in psychology.

To be eligible for the Chancellor’s Full-Ride Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21 or higher, be the class valedictorian or salutatorian, and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
