Relyance Bank announces employee promotions

Chuck Morgan, president and CEO of Relyance Bank, has announced three promotions.

Judy Pennington has been named assistant vice president and loan review officer. Pennington joined the bank in 2010 in the Loan Review Department. She attended Southeast Arkansas College with an emphasis in accounting. She also attended the Arkansas Bankers Association Compliance School in 2011, Independent Community Bankers of America Loan Review in 2012, and the BAI Loan Review Certification Program in 2013.

Karan Foust has been promoted to assistant vice president of Jefferson Title Company. Foust has served as the escrow and closing officer for seven years and attends various annual seminars.

Angela Melhorn has been promoted to accounting officer. She joined the bank in 1998 as an accounting assistant with her associate’s degree in accounting from Southeast Arkansas College. Melhorn is very active in the Woodlawn community and surrounding communities. She has served as vice president and board member of the Pine Bluff Optimist Club and has served various roles within the Woodlawn Sports Association such as softball coach and pee wee cheer coach.
