PB man elected to national cotton role


MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Seven Arkansas cotton industry members have been elected to leadership positions in the National Cotton Council for 2014, including John Fricke, a cottonseed crusher from Pine Bluff, who was re-elected as a vice president.

The cotton industry leaders were named to their posts during the recent 2014 NCC Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Also elected to various roles were: Allen B. Helms Jr. of Clarkesdale, Larry R. McClendon of Marianna, Stewart Weaver of Edmonson, Herrick F. Norcross III of Tyronza, Rick Bransford of Lonoke and Nathan B. Reed of Marianna.
