The Potter’s Preemies, a ministry for families with premature babies and infants in a neonatal intensive-care unit (NICU), will host their first Lunch and Learn.
The meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Central Baptist Church, 6107 Dollarway Road.
Chris and Jordan Drye of White Hall, founded the ministry this year after experiencing premature birth for the second time. They have learned the value and need for support among fellow parents of preemies, a spokesman said.
The meeting will give families a chance to fellowship over barbecue and information. More meetings are scheduled for the third Saturday of every month.
