O’Donohue receives UAPB academic scholarship


Zachary O’Donohue of Pine Bluff was recently awarded an academic scholarship for full tuition by the Office of Recruitment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The son of Wes O’Donohue and Sarah Lachowsky and O’Donohue will graduate in May from Pine Bluff High School where he has been a two-year letterman in soccer.

While attending UAPB, O’Donohue will major in computer science and plans to take advantage of many internship opportunities UAPB offers.

“UAPB is a great school and it’s at home. It seems like the perfect fit for me,” O’Donohue said. “The academic scholarship will help me considerably by assisting with the funding of my college education.”

To be eligible for the academic scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship pays full tuition.
