Improvements to Interstate 530 will require overnight lane closures in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.
Crews will install a new overhead sign structure on Interstate 530 near the Bingham Road southbound entrance ramp (Exit 9). They will also remove the existing southbound overhead sign about a half-mile south of this location.
The closures will be Thursday night, Feb. 27, through Friday morning, Feb. 28, between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting. The work will occasionally require closing I-530 southbound for a maximum of 15 minutes. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
