Improvements to Highway 35 will require lane closures in Grant County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will be constructing asphalt shoulders on Highway 35. The work will extend from two miles north of Sheridan to the Saline County line. The work will reduce traffic to one lane.
The weekday lane closures will occur from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday through April 3, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, cones and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found online at IDriveArkansas.com, ArkansasHighways.com or via Twitter @AHTD.
