Jamison receives Ph.D

Joshua Andrew Jamison of Pittsburgh, Pa., recently earned a Ph.D in molecular and cellular pathology from the University of Pittsburgh-School of Medicine.

Jamison is an honor graduate of Pine Bluff High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Jamison performed biomedical research at Mt. Sinai University in New York City. Jamison’s dissertation was entitled “PKC-delta regulates the rhythm of contractility during growth factor induced migration.”

Jamison is the husband of Patrice Jamison, M.D., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jamison of Pine Bluff, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Washington of Monticello, and the late Rev. and Mrs. John D. Jamison.
