Children urged to mail Santa letters soon

The U.S. Postal Service reminds children of all ages to get their Santa letters in the mail soon.

All letters addressed to Santa Claus, The North Pole, with a return address, will receive a personal response from Santa if mailed in time.

“Christmas Day is less than one month away and we want to make sure all the girls and boys in Arkansas get their letters to Santa in on time,” said District Manager Robert Carr of the USPS Arkansas District.

Carr said the Postal Service expects hundreds of Santa letters from children in Arkansas will be collected, sorted and forwarded to Santa’s workshop at the North Pole this year.

Carr said, like all First Class Mail, the information from all Santa letters is kept very confidential and the U.S. Postal Service does not share children’s names, addresses or information with anyone outside the Postal Service, except Santa Claus himself.
