Arkansas Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame seeks nominees

The Arkansas Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame selection board is seeking nominees of deserving veterans until Aug. 31. The board will be selecting this year’s inductees in September.

“We want all of our deserving heroes to be honored and recognized,” Col. Conrad Reynolds, the founder and director of the hall of fame, said in a press release. “If you know of someone deserving, please, do not hesitate to send in a nomination packet. We are looking forward to another special class of inductees this year.”

Both Sen. John Boozeman and Sen. Mark Pryor have been invited back and are expected to attend this year’s event.

The fourth annual induction ceremony will be held Nov. 1 at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock.

Nomination packets must be postmarked by Aug. 31. To nominate a veteran who is thought to be deserving of hall of fame induction, visit the website (http://amvhof.org/nomination-packet/) and download the nomination form and follow the instructions.
