After School at-risk program begins

The New Home Missionary Baptist Church is participating in the After School At Risk Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in meal service, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

• New Home Missionary Baptist, 3000 S. Orange St., (across from Oak Park School) from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Greater Second Baptist Church, 124 Main St., in Dumas from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Activities will include social skills, tutoring, board games, exercise, bullying prevention, basketball, plus two meals.
