Box 6469, Pine Bluff, Ark., 71611. Since all activities are subject to change, it would be wise to confirm the activity with the sponsoring organization.
25-26 — The 11th annual “Boo on the Bayou” will be held at the Delta Rivers Nature Center from 6-9 p.m. each day. There will be games, crafts, face painting and animal programs, plus a half-mile “Haunted Trail”. Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight and come in costume to this free event. 26 — The second annual Delta All Natural Hair Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Advance tickets for the event are $15 and may be purchased at Fathers & Sons Clothier, 2801 S. Olive St.; or Pyramid Art, Books & Custom Framing, 1001 Wright Ave., in Little Rock. 26 — Cane Creek State Park will host its annual Halloween Ghost Roast. There will be hay rides, trick-or-treating, a haunted house, carnival games, costume contests and food vendors. For more information, call 870-628-4714.
29 — White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will hold its fall carnival from 6-8 p.m. The event will include food, a duck pond, the balloon man, a petting zoo, ring toss, kissing booth and other activities. The staff will also be dressed as Disney characters. The center is also asking for donations of canned goods to be given to the White Hall Food Pantry.
29 — The Jefferson County Extension Homemakers will kick off the holiday-cooking season with their annual Holiday Foods event at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 412 W. Sixth Ave. The cost to attend is $10, which includes an EHC cookbook. The event will include door prizes and a tasting party of foods selected from the cookbook. To purchase tickets in advance, call 870-534-1033. Extra cookbooks will also be available for purchase for $5.
7-10 — The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas will present “Razzle Dazzle, Gone Country,” directed by Matt Soto. Tickets for the Nov. 7-9 performances are sold out. Tickets are still available for the 2 p.m. Nov. 10 performance. Tickets are $13 for members and $15 for non-members. 19 — This year’s Enchanted Land of Lights & Legends will open in Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park. The light display will be open from 6-9 nightly through Dec. 31.
