Alma Weekly Vaughns of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Oct. 29, 2009, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 8, 1920, in Meroney, Ark., (Lincoln County) to the late Isiah and Josie Walls.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include sons, Larry Weekly of Pine Bluff, Ark., Ray Vaughns Jr., of Little Rock, Ark., Ramsey Vaughns of Sacramento, Calif.; daughters Marie Chatman, Bobby Jean Weekly and Felma Green, all of Pine Bluff, Ark., Joann Hughes of Little Rock, Ark., Ruth Sanders and Margaret Goodwin, both of Gary, Ind.; sisters Allie Bowen of Star City, Ark., and Joe Marie Walls of PIne Bluff, Ark.; 51 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at First Trinity Church of God in Christ at 11 a.m.

The body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery by Christian Way Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today at Christian Way Funeral Home, 3705 W. 6th Ave., from 6-7 p.m.
