Mrs. Etory B. Owney, 75, of Pine Bluff, died, Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

She was born in Phoenix to the late Charlie and Louisiana Banister.

Her survivors include, Sons, Bobby Banister of Chicago, Ill., Melvin Owney of Detroit, Mich., Walter Owney, Jr., Michael Owney and Herbert Owney all of Little Rock, Douglas Owney, Dan Owney and Clifton Owney all of Pine Bluff and Frank Baker of Grady; Daughters, Shelia Owney, Sherley Owney, Tera Brewer, Tina Morris and Marian Hayes all of Pine Bluff; Brothers, Cleophas Banister and George Banister both of Chicago, Ill., Donald Banister of Star City, Kenneth Banister and William Jones, both of Pine Bluff; Sisters, Dorothy Barnes, Pearlie Kennedy, Ora Kendrick all of Chicago, Ill., Gloria Jackson of Little Rock, Emma Carthan of Pine Bluff, Terrie Banister of Tucker, Pamela Williams and Pearlie Wright both of Star City and Lorraine Banister of Kansas City, Mo.; 43 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Her services will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at First Baptist Church by Rev. George Toney, III at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:30-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

The family will be at 3103 Daffodil St., Pine Bluff.
