Mr. Larry James Mays, 54 of Pine Bluff, died, Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

He was born in Pine Bluff to the late Elena and Reverend Harry Mays, Jr.

His survivors include, Sons, Latore Mays of San Diego, Calif., and Derrick Mays of Conway; Daughters, Tammie Courtney and Kimberly Mays of Pine Bluff; Brothers, David Mays and Harry Mays, III both of St. Louis, Mo., Ricky Mays of Pine Bluff and Kelvin Mays of Washington, D.C.; Sisters, Ruby Davis and Kathleen Mays of St. Louis, Mo., Katherine Gatewood of Venice, Ill., Janice Butler of Baltimore, Md., Chris Alexander, Lisa Mays and Teri Jones all of Pine Bluff and Cynthia Tidwell of Little Rock; seven grandchildren.

His services will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at New St. Hurricane Baptist Church by Rev. Melvin Harrison at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

The body will lie in state at the church from 9:15 a.m. until time of service.

The family will be at 2806 Kimberly Drive, Pine Bluff.
