MARGARET THOMPSON

WHITE HALL — Margaret Louise Socia Thompson, 72, of White Hall passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at her home.
She was born July 27, 1937, in Sheridan, Ark., to the late Havis and Mildred Boast Socia.
She graduated from White Hall High School in 1955 and was a member of First Baptist Church White Hall.
She was a nurse for many years at Davis Life Care and later at Trinity Village.
She had also worked as a bookkeeper for Sutton Construction.
She also enjoyed being a Magician.
She appeared in 1962 on the TV show “Queen for a Day” and won Queen for a Day.
She is survived by son, Daniel B. (Darlene) Thompson of New Boston, Texas; daughter, Thressia (James) Woodfield of White Hall; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, White Hall Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Jim Monroe officiating. Burial will be by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
