Carrie Spellmeyer

Carrie M. Spellmeyer, 77, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at her home.

Mrs. Spellmeyer was born July 12, 1932, in Cleveland County, to the late Earnest Harvill and Ruth Dodson Boutet.
She was reared and received her education at Rose Hill in Cleveland County.
Mrs. Spellmeyer lived in the Rison area, Houston, and New York and came back to Pine Bluff in 1986.
She married Jimmy Spellmeyer in 1965, in New York City, N.Y. He passed away in 1975.
Mrs. Spellmeyer was a homemaker for the majority of her life. While living in New York, she was an exhibition handler, where she helped organize and set up the shows.
She was a Baptist.
Her survivors include a son, Danny Harvill of White Hall; a daughter, Patti Trizzino of New York; five sisters, Wanda Devaney and Joan Bass, both of Pine Bluff, Mary Lea Golden of Kingsland, Linda Lawson of Sheridan, and Margaret Desilet of Hartford, Conn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, stepmother, Mary Harvill; two brothers, Jesse Leon Harvill and Dale Harvill; and a sister, Darlene Harvill.
The family will receive friends today, Nov. 5, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson’s.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, 1 p.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson with Rev. Ricky Broach officiating. Interment will follow at Rowell Cemetery.
