Zan Pierce Sr.

MONTICELLO — Zan Pierce Sr., 81, of Monticello, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Iwania Ann Donaldson Pierce of Monticello; five sons, Zan Pierce Jr. and wife, Raelynn, Roger Pierce and wife, Wanda and Jay Pierce and wife, Karen, all of Monticello, Rick Pierce and wife, Lisa of Bradenton, Fla., and Danny Pierce and wife, Debbie of Hot Springs; two sisters, Jewel Cooper and husband, James of Monticello and Edna Burns of Portland, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cominto Baptist Church with burial in Rash Cemetery.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. today at the Cominto Baptist Church.
