Sandra Ann Battles died Oct. 27 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 4, 1955 to Mildred Lee Battles and the late James Battles.

She was a member of First Trinity Church of God in Christ.

She was employed at Davis Nursing Home until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Odell Battles.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Battles of Pine Bluff; two sons, James Jackson of Jacksonville, Ark., and Steve Jackson of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Kenyata Hill of Pine Bluff; four sisters, Myrtle Bryd of Milwaukee, Wis., Mildred Reeves, Juanite Whitehead, Katie Battles, all of Pine Bluff; four brothers, Ricky Battles of Houston, Texas, Calvin Finley, Johnny Finley and Eddie Reed, all of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren; and a special friend, Clarence Bowers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. at First Trinity Church of God in Christ, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Christian Way Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
