MCGEHEE — Betty Ann Sharp Newton, 59, of McGehee died Wednesday at McGehee.

She was born Oct. 11, 1950, at Winchester, a daughter of the late Pete and Hazel Varnell Sharp.

Survivors: sons, Travis Irons, Rodney Irons and Chris Irons, all of McGehee; brothers, Benj Sharp, Eddie Sharp and Jimmy Penny; sisters, Wilma Lemonds, Verna Harris and Shirley Hawkins; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Walnut Lake Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Barnes officiating. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
