Mr. Shadie Harris Jr., 73, of Pine Bluff died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.

He was born in Pine Bluff to the late Shady Harris Sr. and Pearlie Mae Harris.

Her survivors include wife, Dorothy Harris; sons, Charles Pointer and Kem Harris; daughters, Barbara Dorn, Diann Collins, Lorain Reams, Linda Wright, Patsy Harris, Sharon Harris, Tracy Harris, Tammy Roberson and Tundra Clegg, all of Pine Bluff; sisters, Annerbell Owens, Corine Maggett and Carrie Craig, all of Chicago, Ill.; 63 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

His services will be Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at New St. Hurricane Baptist Church by Rev. L.R. Jones Sr. at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in New St. Hurricane Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 4:30-7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.

The body will lie in state at the church from 1:45 p.m. until time of service.

The family will be at 7205 S. Olive St., Pine Bluff.
