LORAYNE JONES

MILWAUKEE — Ms. Lorayne Jones, 56, of Milwaukee, Wis., formerly of Pine Bluff, died Oct. 21 at her home.

She was born May 17, 1953, in Pine Bluff, daughter of the late Eddie Lee and Bertha L. Carlisle Jones.

She was a Baptist. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1971. She moved to Milwaukee, there she was involved in film and television Universal Pictures, The Blues Brothers Ensemble, B&B Production (ABC-TV) American Dream and MGM (NBC) Chicago Story Ensemble. She received her training for theatre at Marquette University (Milwaukee), Loop Community College (Chicago) and Modeling from Patricia Stevens Modeling and Career College (Chicago).

She was employed by the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Center and was a licensed realtor for the state of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. Perry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Shirley Sanders officiating.

Survivors: one brother, Michael E. Jones, Pine Bluff; three sisters, Daisy M. Smith, Essie J. Campbell, both Pine Bluff, Bonnie J. Haley, Chicago, Ill.; two aunts, Frankie Pointer, Pine Bluff, Denova J. Matthews, Bakersfield, Calif.; nieces, nephews.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Perry Funeral Home.

Family will be at 3106 Utah St.
