Jean Coburn
Emma Jean Evans Coburn, age 82, of Pine Bluff died Monday, July 21, 2008.
She was born May 24, 1926 at Rosston, Ark., Nevada County , a daughter of the late Loyal Patterson Evans and Harley Fincher Evans.
Jean retired in 1989 after several years as service station manager for Rose Oil Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel William (Bill) Coburn, to whom she married Sept. 19, 1944. Mr. Coburn passed away in February of 1990.
Jean was also predeceased by three brothers, Alvin (Buddy) Evans, Loyal Patterson Evans Jr. and Dail O. Evans; and a sister Nell Crider.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wayne Coburn of Pine Bluff and Buel Everett Coburn and wife Mary ‘Punkin’ of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Martha Jean McVay and husband, Jerry of Redfield; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in Vienna Cemetery Near Ruston, La.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Home in Pine Bluff .

Josephine Dollison
Mrs. Josephine Dollison, 80, of Pine Bluff died Saturday, July 19, 2008.
She was born in Pine Bluff to the late Will Riley and Pearl Bennett.
Her survivors include sons, James Dollison of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Donnie Dollison of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Juanita Dollison of Pine Bluff, Joann Woodley and Pearl Perry of Milwaukee, Mary Harris and Brenda Nickson of Jonesboro, and Joyce Qualls of Newark; brothers, Rev. Sylvester Legrand of Pine Bluff and Rev. Leroy Legrand; sister, Mamie Crosby, both of Pine Bluff; 34 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her services will be Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. Leroy Spears at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Henson Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4-7:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
The family will be at 1226 1/2 N. Palm St., Pine Bluff, Ark.
Rickey Seamans
Rickey Wayne Seamans, 46, of Pine Bluff died Monday, July 21, 2008, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Seamans was born Aug. 10, 1961, in Pine Bluff, to Jack and Annette Bell Seamans. He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, where he attended Victory Baptist Academy and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Seamans was disabled.
He was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church.
His survivors include his son, Richard Dewayne Seamans of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Somer Seamans of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren; his parents, Jack and Annette Seamans of Pine Bluff; brother, Jason Seamans of Pine Bluff, and a sister, Kim Gilbert and her husband Scott, of Little Rock.
Mr. Seamans was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Broach Seamans, and a brother, Randy Keith Seamans.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 23, 2008, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Robinson’s.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 24, 2008, 10 a.m. in Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Randy Festervand officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Home.

Heicht Smith
DUMAS — Heicht Brannon Smith, 87, of Dumas, Ark., was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Tyro, Ark., to the late Ernest T. and Amanda Hubbard Smith.
Mr. Smith departed this life July 20, 2008, at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas, Ark.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dumas, Ark. He was also past president of the Dumas Chamber of Commerce, past president of AA and also a member of Pine Bluff Flyers Club.
Mr. Smith was the founder of Smith Steel in the year of 1949 in Dumas and was very active in the business until he retired in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Smith, and one son, Brannon Dale Smith, and by one sister, Marnell Garner.
He is survived by one son, Ernie Smith (Linda) of Dumas, Ark., and five grandchildren, Shelly Schultz of Benson, N.C., Steven Smith of Bloomington, Ill., Susan Diane Smith of Bloomington, Ill., Sandra Darlene Smith of Bloomington, Ill., and one step-grandchild Jason Beckham of Monticello, Ark. He also had nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, 2008, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Dumas, Ark. Final Desposition will be at Walnut Lake Cemetery with Bro. Ross Woodbury officiating. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Faith Center in Dumas and Dumas Assisted Living.

Geraldine Eilbott
LITTLE ROCK — Geraldine Manar Eilbott, 90, of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, Ark., died on July 21, 2008. The widow of Reginald A. Eilbott Jr., she married on Aug. 12, 1939, in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born on Jan. 4, 1918 in Okmulgee, Okla., to George Weldon Manar and Ruby Brame Manar.
She was predeceased by her parents, who moved to Pine Bluff in 1954 to live next door to her and her family, and by her only sibling, Thomas Quitman Manar and by his son, Thomas James Manar. She graduated from Bristow, Okla., High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where she met her future husband.
After their marriage, she moved to Pine Bluff and served as her husband’s first legal secretary prior to his entry into the U.S. Army. During W.W.II she lived in Pine Bluff with her widowed father-in-law, Reginald Eilbott Sr. She began needle pointing to occupy time while traveling with her husband including attending out of town trials. Over the years she completed hundreds of pieces for family and friends, including cherished Christmas stockings.
She was a 36 year member of The Daughters of the American Revolution and served as Chapter Regent of the Pine Bluff Chapter from 1985 to 1988. Her service included other local chapter and state chapter positions.
She was a long time American Red Cross Volunteer. A member of First Presbyterian Church, she volunteered there as a receptionist.
She is survived by her daughter, Gerry Lee Soltz, and husband Maurice H. Soltz of Petit Jean Mountain, Morrilton, Ark.; and son, Don Eilbott and wife Mari Cousins Eilbott of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Lee Elizabeth Eilbott of Memphis, Tenn., Henry Matthew Seale of Little Rock and Jo Ann Moss and husband, J.D. Moss III of Memphis, Tenn.
Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church Pine Bluff, on Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m., with Rev. W. Lee Kinney officiating.
The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
Private committal services will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son.

SHERIDAN — Doy Leon Nance of Sheridan died Sunday.
Survivors: wife, Barbara Nance; mother, Betty Nance of Sheridan; daughter, Tammy Nance Batchelor of Sheridan; son, Doy Leon Nance II of Sheridan; sisters, Ruth Card of Nevada, Marie Moring and Brenda Burns of Florida; brothers, Roy Nance and Troy Nance of Nevada; five grandchildren, and 11 step-grandchildren.

Rayanne Rabeneck
STUTTGART — Rayanne Elise Rabeneck, age 45, died Monday, July 21, 2008.
She was born on June 24, 1963, to Donald and Elizabeth Rabeneck and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Pine Bluff where she was the organist. Rayanne had lived and worked in Pine Bluff for several years before returning to Stuttgart to begin a teaching career with the Stuttgart Public Schools at Middle School and Junior High School.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Gregory Rabeneck; grandparents Eldor and Lucille Rabeneck and Elmer and Mary Carle. Survivors are her parents, Donald and Elizabeth Rabeneck of Stuttgart; one brother, Billy Rabeneck of Stuttgart; and one sister, Christy Rabeneck of Maumelle.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Dean Clausing officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Tree Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Turpin Funeral Home.
