The final 2015-2016 meeting of the 20th Century Club was held recently at Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant. There were three visitors, Juanita Cherry, Emily Davis and Ruth Roberts.

Male students from Pine Bluff, Watson Chapel and Dollarway high schools joined together to create (ICE) Individuals Concerning Education and recently won first place in The Borders step show at El Dorado. They competed against four collegiate teams.
The Sesame Club’s April spring luncheon was held at the Pine Bluff Country Club. Decorated tables were provided by hostesses Mary Shannon Fikes, Susan Brown, Betty Matthews, Jane Townsend and Cindy Trotter.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas will come through Pine Bluff at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Saracen Landing. Local officers will participate in the torch run as part of the statewide event in May each year.
Cane Creek State Park at Star City will host Saved by Grace in a spring musical concert at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 28, behind the park’s visitor center.
Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1575 Ridgway Road, will hold it 53rd annual fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 3.

The United Methodist Women of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church, 3703 Ryburn Road, will sponsor a catfish dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26. The event will be catered by Dorey’s Catfish.
Joe Lewis, an entertainer from Pine Bluff, will play piano at The Pines mall from noon to 1:30 p.m., 4-5 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. Friday through Sunday, according to a press release.
