Hawley United Methodist Women to host Fall Bazaar

The United Methodist Women of Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1575 Ridgway Road, will hold their annual Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

A popular feature at the bazaar is a country store which offers a selection of homemade breads, various desserts, canned jellies, relishes, and preserves. Evelyn Brabston, chairman, said these items are a favorite with shoppers and sell out quickly. A variety of crafts will also be available.

This year’s raffle item is a lighthouse afghan made by Marilyn Wukits of Hixton, Tenn. Chances are available for $.50 each.

A chicken spaghetti lunch with salad, bread, dessert and drink will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6 for dine-in or carry-out.

The Rev. Jackie Gregory, pastor, extends an invitation to the community to come by and enjoy this annual event.
