Brookshire’s donates to Boys and Girls Club

Brookshire’s annual golf tournament benefiting children’s charities donated $4,500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County on Aug. 4 to support Project Learn Program. This program focuses on academics, emphasizing math and literacy. The club will be able to purchase supplies to continue to provide members with the academics needed to be successful, a spokesman said. Grace Willing Workers met July 9

“The Sunshine Girls” of Grace Willing Workers met July 9 at Relyance Bank Branch in White Hall’s meeting room. The meeting was called to order by President Bettye Johnson. She welcomed members and guests, Bobbie Guernsy and Betty Marks .

Downtown Development receives grant

Woods, Billingsley to wed
