Zeta Phi Beta to support March of Dimes with two events

Since 1972, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. has enjoyed a fruitful partnership with the March of Dimes in an effort to encourage women to seek prenatal care within the first trimester of pregnancy, increasing the prevention of birth defects and decreasing infant mortality.

The Epsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. will support the March of Dimes through two events Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, the Epsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter members will participate in the annual March for Babies walk at the Harbor Oaks Playground and Park on Harbor Oaks Drive. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

The chapter members will host a “Bowling for Babies” event at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Thunder Lanes Bowling Alley, 1600 E. Harding Ave. The cost is $35 per team of four, which includes two games and shoe rentals for the team.

The public is invited to come and support these worthwhile events, helping to give hope to more than a half a million babies born too soon each year.
