White Hall Museum to host Veterans Day program

A Veterans Day program has been set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Veterans Monument at the White Hall Museum.

The keynote speaker will be Col. David Musgrave, commander with the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

Other program participants will include Lt. Col. Diego Gonzalez, medical officer at the Arsenal; retired Lt. Col. Ed Monk, a West Point graduate; Richard Bailey, professor from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; Everett Smith and David Beck. Motorcycle groups will also participate, as well as, the White Hall JROTC with Sgt. Maj. Larry Adams.

A special feature will be the 106th Army Band from Camp Robinson. The band is composed of 25 members and will present special music conducted by Sgt. 1st Class Mark Wallace. The White Hall Middle School Choir will present a special rendition of “You’re A Grand Old Flag,” conducted by Karen Robinson, director.

All veterans and family members will be honored with a special musical tribute. The public is invited to attend. Shelter, seating and parking will be provided.
